Why Self-Pay?You may have noticed many therapists straying away from taking health insurance. While this can be a deterrent to initiating therapy, many clients do not realize that insurance companies can dictate important aspects of the counseling process including the need for diagnoses early on in the therapeutic process and length of treatment. Self-pay allows for more self-advocacy in the counseling process and ensures confidentiality, as self-pay ensures third party insurance companies are not able to access treatment records.
We are happy to generate a superbill for your sessions for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits, if applicable. ADHD and Autism Assessments are not eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. |
